“Our work is as Versatile as an Egg”
Yes it is! you would know, if you have been following me for sometime or looked at the Services menu on the site. Also, if you have been following for sometime you would know I wear many hats and always
with a “Coffee in hand”! 😉
The uniqueness of what is done here is the ability to be Versatile just like an Egg can be, to me that is the epitome of creativity and keeping things fresh.
When it comes to my inner creativity and coming up with something new and unique not only for Blogging, Social Media platforms, and Clients, Easter and Springtime make it easy. Adding Fresh can be as easy as a bouquet of fresh interior flowers, to buying new pillows, or trying fresh premium coffee beans that fill the air of your interiors with a wonderful coffee aroma. The simplest way to add Fresh to your Interiors at this time of year is in your Dining Room; especially if you host Easter Lunch, Brunch, Dinner, or just like to change your interiors with seasonal themes.
On my social media platforms I have been talking about “adding Fresh” to your interiors and ways you can”add Fresh”. This Easter and Springtime Season I decided to add a favourite combination of Black and White with a Fresh twist to my Dining table.
Adding Fresh…
From stencilled Easter Eggs embellished with subtle details,
to name place holders with moss in seed starter pots, finished with moss charger plates.
LAUGH…It’s nice to have subtle reminders in our Interiors!
Remember this key word because as much as you think this is a simple and easy project, trying to use flat stencils on a round surface may have you crying instead of laughing! It takes steady hands and patience.
Just BELIEVE..that you can do it!
Supplies Needed…
- Eggs
- Black Paint (prefer matte)
- Brushes ( paint and stencil)
- Stencils (your choice)
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Twine
- Moss
- Letra Set sticker letters
- Seed starter pots
I decided to leave out a tutorial of how I assembled these because I think it’s pretty straight forward and wanted to leave it up to you and your creative imagination in order to make something unique with your own style!
Note* This doesn’t have to be decor for Easter only! Think of an Event or Party setting and the many ways these eggs can be incorporated.
Eggs are not only simple in their Design, there are many ways to use them.
If your still wondering “how Eggs are Versatile”?
Here is a small excerpt from an article called The Versatility of Eggs by: Willie Kiernan
“Eggs have many uses in the kitchen. They can thicken, bind, leaven, glaze or garnish. They can be centre of the plate or they can blend into the background. They are versatile and quick cooking, but perhaps first and foremost, the protein of the egg is both high in quality and low in cost.”
This kind of sums it up here at C2-interiors.com ! lol
Enjoy!
